So Pepsi has been running this "Refresh" promotion that will give away money to a Philanthropy that receives the most peer votes. In many ways, this promotion is harnessing many social media aspects: 1. Facebook Connect (Voting using your Facebook, profile to register), 2. Once you vote, you can ask all your Facebook Friends to vote via your news feed with two clicks, 3. You can also install the Pepsi Refresh App on your Facebook page to allow people vote directly on Facebook!
But I digress. The real story here is a ton of great Philanthropies will be getting a ton of money! Then I thought to myself... "I wonder if I know anyone who is taking part in this great promotion." Low and behold, Philanthro Productions (A good friend Adam London is very involved in) is in and currently in 79th place out of 1344! Top 10 in each category win.
