Facebook has made another change. Not a major change, but instead of becoming a "Fan" of a specific fan page, you are now asked to "Like" a fan page. Above is the California State Fair Fan Page and shows the "Like" button. Here is Facebook's explanation (This link has more details):
Starting today people will be able to connect with your Page by clicking “Like” rather than “Become a Fan.” We hope this action will feel much more lightweight, and that it will increase the number of connections made across the site.
